Appointment of staff on contract basis
in Delhi Dispute Resolution Society, Delhi

Applications in the prescribed Performa are invited for the various posts of Additional Directors/ Coordinator (9), Superintendents (10), Assistants (07), UDCs (15), LDCs (10) and Peons (30) in the Delhi Dispute Resolution Society Ltd., a society of the Government of NCT of Delhi registered under the Society Registration Act, 1860. The incumbents will be appointment purely on contract basis for a period of six months, which may be extended from time to time for a further period of six months not exceeding a total period of three years from the date of initial appointment. The last date for receipt of applications is 09.08.2010. The candidate shall submit their bio data enclosing therewith the attested copies of the documents showing their eligibility to the Director (DDRS), Room No.805, C-Wing, Delhi Secretariat, New Delhi-110002 up to the last date of receipt of application (9.8.2010).

Pay Scale: 15600-39100/- and Grade Pay 5400/-
Contractual Salary (No allowances): Minimum Pay+Grade Pay+DA as on date

2) Superintendent 
Number of posts: 10
Pay Scale: 9300-34800 and Grade Pay 4600/-
Contractual Salary (No allowances): Minimum Pay+Grade Pay+DA as on date

3) Assistant
Number of posts: 07
Pay Scale: 9300-34800/- and Grade Pay 4200/-
Contractual Salary (No allowances): Minimum Pay+Grade Pay+DA as on date

4) UDC
Number of posts: 15
Pay Scale: 5200-20200/- and Grade Pay 2400/-
Contractual Salary (No allowances): Minimum Pay+Grade Pay+DA as on date

5) LDC
Number of posts: 10
Pay Scale: 5200-20200/- and Grade Pay 1900/-
Contractual Salary (No allowances): Minimum Pay+Grade Pay+DA as on date

6) Peon
Number of posts: 30
Pay Scale: 5200-20200/- and Grade Pay 1800/-
Contractual Salary (No allowances): Minimum Pay+Grade Pay+DA as on date

Details of Educational Qualification, work experience and other
qualifications required of prospective applicants are as under:

1. Additional Director/Coordinator: The candidate should be graduate in any discipline, having Managerial skills and knowledge in Psychology.
Desirable: Degree in Law and having experience in Mediation.

2. Superintendent: The candidate having Graduate degree in any discipline and having at least five years experience in administrative work in any organization.
Desirable: – Computer knowledge.

3. Assistant: The candidate having Graduate degree in any discipline and having at least three years experience in administrative work in any organization.
Desirable – Computer knowledge.

4. UDC: The candidate having graduate degree in any discipline and knowledge of computer operations with minimum two years experience.
Desirable: Having Knowledge of Stenography in English language.

5. LDC: The candidate having at least senior school certificate (10+2) and has been declared qualified in the type test in English with minimum speed of 40 wpm or having certificate course in Computer Operator and Programming Assistant from a recognized institute.
Desirable: Having Knowledge of Stenography in English or Hindi language.

6. Peon: The candidate should have matriculate qualification from any recognized Board.
Desirable: Having a driving license for driving light motor vehicle.

The Society will form a list of eligible candidates which shall be valid for a period of one year and the vacancies may be filled on need base. The Chairman reserves the right to increase and decrease the number of vacancies shown against each post without notice.

In case of receipt of large numbers of applications, the applications shall be scrutinized and only shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. The date of interview be checked from website. No separate letters will be sent. No TA/DA shall be paid for interview.

The appointment shall be purely on contract basis and the selected candidates shall have no right for regularization on the post. The candidates, who are already working with Society or have applied, need not apply again.

Payment of consolidated emoluments to the contractual appointment will be based on the minimum of the scale of pay plus Grade Pay plus DA only as mentioned against the posts. No other financial allowance/facilities shall be payable to contractual appointee. Retired persons below age of 65 years can also apply. However, for retired persons, if appointed, pay will be fixed as per provisions contained in CCS (Re-employed Pensions) Order 1986 or the consolidated salary, whichever is less.

Note: i) The Society is in process of establishing various Mediation Centers in different parts of Delhi for resolution of disputes relating to neighborhood, family, consumer related, Cheque bounce and government department related;
